As owner of Portland, Oregon’s North Woods Electrical, Yogesh Zito primarily serves as a supervising electrician responsible for ensuring that employees perform design and installation work in accordance with the company’s standards. He’s also responsible for coordinating budgets, purchasing materials, and developing job layouts for work pertaining to residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. Yogesh Zito founded the company in 1995 after earning his journeyman, supervisor, and master electrical licenses.
Prior to establishing North Woods Electrical, Yogesh Zito spent nine years as a project manager with the Lenox, Massachusetts-based Kripalu Center. In this capacity, he coordinated all phases of construction for numerous projects throughout the state. He even supervised all phases of construction for a $5 million, 100,000-square-foot renovation project. Concurrently, he served as a facilities manager for a 200,000-square-foot building.
Mr. Zito holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Florida State University and, in his free time, enjoys practicing yoga, meditating, and hiking.
